My trees:
My trees are grey,
Not brown, like yours.
Not like the few red-woods
The tall, imposing redwoods
Which grow sparsely
Around my home.
Few trees turn colors,
The ones that do turn grey
few lose their leaves,
Grey, twisted, beautiful, proud;
These are my trees.
My sky:
My sky is blue, but not your blue,
My sky is a deep, sharp blue;
Fading into an ice sapphire.
Faded and stunning, the sky.
But that blue is hardly seen.
Grey. Swirling, bold, hungry,
Grey covers my sky.
The sky is like the grey kitten,
Sleeping in the shed.
Soft, kind, but is a ferice hunter.
That is my sky.
My beach:
My beach is like any other beach.
Sand, birds, rocks, the smell of dead fish and rotting sea weed.
But my beach is special.
A sunset, laughter, me as a child
Greek food, a picnic,
the bird called "Seegy".
My memories. My beach is special.
This is my beach.
My ocean:
My ocean is the largest in the world,
As I look across the bay,
The deepest blue is there
Watching calmly
Waiting to strike.
My ocean is special
The place where I sail.
My ocean is a home to many
Across much if the world
My ocean is beautiful, cold, dangerous.
This is my ocean. My cold, cold ocean.
My night sky:
My night is not like any other,
No, my night us not like yours.
The moon lights it up,
So the sky is a pale white.
When the moon hides a way,
The night is so dark,
So dark, the ink black/blue.
The sky is a blanket, the stars holes,
Showing heavens light.
Silence.
Nothing is heard.
Almost deafening.
An owls hoot,
A mountain cats paw,
Then all is silent again.
This is my night.
My world of winter:
This is my world of winter,
mine, not yours.
It is like no other.
My trees, grey and proud.
My sky, so cold, such ice.
My beach, though like any other,
Holds my memories in it's hand.
My ocean, so calm, ready to strike.
My night sky's clear sharpness,
All my own.
This is my world,
So unlike yours.
My winter world.
So basically I felt like writing a poem. Yep, that's about it.
Oh, btw, the trees are oak.

Happy Thanksgiving
So... It's Thanksgiving, the day when all of us Americans eat turkey (yuck!) But that's not the point. The point is... what are you thankful for?
I'm thankful that my BFFs mom drives me to and from youth group on Tuesday nights; for my vacation in Kauai, for my family, the LakeHouseForums, youth group, my friends, the web, ATLA, POTC, SW and TCW, Her Universe, books, my art supplies and my ability to draw, that I can see with the aid of glasses and contacts, my teeth (which I have gone through 4 surgeries to fix them. I had extras.), that I can hear, that even though I have Ozgood-Slauters condition (or however u spell it) I can still reasonably run. I am thankful for food and chocolate, the ocean and rivers and lakes and ponds and streams. I am thankful for music and movies and my grandparents. My list goes on and on and on, and so will yours if you actually spend tome to think about it.
So what are you thankful for? Your thanksgiving turkey (again, I say yuck because turkey is discussing, I am not thankful for it at all.), your family or friends? Think about it, and you will feel much better. Always count your blessings.

Wow, MAJOR art project. and other stuff
Well, a few days ago I decided to glue a bunch of crayons to a canvas and melt them. It was a very messy process, but in the end, it was beautiful.

What was I thinking!!!
Obviously, I wasn't.
So I'm being Hera for Halloween. I was, anyways. Well, I never had time to sew on selves to hold up the dress when I'm at school, so I decided to go as a Barbie. Yeah, real creative. But then... this is crazy... I decide to be a ninja Barbie. Not just any barbie, but a ninja barbie. This will be the absolute weirdest Halloween costume i have ever had. I think I will just buy my costume next year. =)
Hope you all have a happy Halloween! With lots of candy and fun, and friends and candy!

Just Dance
I am a horrible dancer, but who cares? After couple of songs I don't do to bad. I had fun with my friends, and even got asked to dance, twice! (Actually, 3 times, but I never wanted to dance with Richard)
So I, with a few friends, went to Miley's house to get ready. We did eachothers makeup, hair, and were just being crazy. Vicky even curled my hair for me! I wore a zig-zaggy blue/purple/white shirt-dress thing with black leggings and black flats. The theme was "A toutch of Halloween", so I wore a huge feather in my hair.
When the first slow song played, Graison asked me do dance. I totally knew he would ask me. In the past two/ three months, we have become prety good friends. I don't remember what song it was, we were having to much fun to wory about that.
Then we all danced for a while like crazy people.
Moves Like Jagger
Baby
Born this way
Bad Romance
So after dancing to these songs and much, much more, Richard asked me to dance. I also knew that he would ask me, but I was hoping he wouldn't. And, of coarse, he asked me to dance during Halo. Same thing as last year. Yuck. The song is way to long, especially when dancing with someone you DO NOT want to dance with.
Listen, and imagine dancing to this with someone you don't realy like:
Halo
Yep, not fun at all.
So then we danced more (I just realised that I say "So" a lot =) sorry ). Um... Oh yeah, so Grayson does this crazy, spaztic robot/random/ballet/break dance thing. It's really funny.
And then.... this almost shoked me to death (well, not that much, but you get the point)... Forrest asked me to dance. I was like "O.o what? Really? Sure." It was during 'Chasing Cars'. I have a long history with that song. A sort of sad one.
Chasing Cars
Forrest, one of the most annoying boys in the class, asked me to dance with him. He is annoying, but I don't hate him. I'm not going to say that "I never dreamed that he would ask me", because that would be a flat out lie. In fact *blushes* I sorta-kinda wanted him to ask me. I don't know why! Don't ask me! (Also,we a required to say yes.)oh, and its not like I want to marry him. yuck.
I asked the DJ to play 'City on our Knees' by TobyMac, an she did! Paige, Jen, and I were probably the only people who knew it though.
City on our Knees
So that is how the dance went.
God bless!

Just a rainy day... and thank-you to God
You know those days that are all rainy and gray, and you ask "Why is it raining! Now I have to stay inside and [event here] was canceled and..."
But then you step outside in a short-sleeve t-shirt and jeans.
You tilt your head up to the sky.
You can't help but feel a little happy.
You open your arms and spin around, you just have to.
You stop, look and listen.
The trees are greener.
The dirt is darker.
The sky is a beautiful dark blue-gray.
Everything is richer in color. The world has changed.
And so have you. You are glad that it has rained.
It dosen't matter any more that you missed that event.
Nor that you are completely soaked.
Only rain can make you feel this way.
Thanks, God, for rain!

Hi!
Hi, and welcome to my blog! I love Star Wars (you can tell by the title) and talk about it a LOT, so assume that most of this will be Star Wars-ish.
